Braun Racing is pleased to announce today that 1997 Formula One World Champion Jacques Villeneuve will return to the wheel of the No. 32 Dollar General Toyota in the NAPA Auto Parts 200 presented by Dodge at Circuit Gilles- Villeneuve de Montréal, August 28 and 29. This will be his third start in the NASCAR Nationwide Series on the famous circuit bearing his father’s name. But before the Montreal meeting, the Quebecer will also have defended himself at the wheel of the same car during the Bucyrus 250, presented for the first time on June 19, on the Road America road circuit in Elkhart Lake. Twice during his years in the CART championship, Jacques won on the long and legendary Wisconsin track.
In his first participation in the Montreal event in 2008, Villeneuve qualified the Braun Racing Toyota Camry in 5th place and despite the heavy rain, the talented and experienced driver remained among the first until he is involved in an accident. Last year, he qualified sixth and finished with a superb 4th place.
